Sunderland's game at Preston North End on the final day of the Championship season will be screened live on Sky Sports. With all games kicking-off at the same time on the last day, the date and time of the fixture are unaffected and it will go ahead on Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm as planned.
With the Championship's automatic promotion race already decided, and with the three relegated teams already confirmed, Sky have chosen to show three fixtures involving four of the five sides vying for the two play-off places still available. Sunderland, Coventry City, Millwall, Blackburn, and West Bromwich Albion all go into the final day with a chance of finishing in either fifth or sixth place.
Along with Sunderland's game, Blackburn's game against Millwall at The Den will be shown live, as will West Bromwich Albion's game at Swansea City. Sunderland must beat Preston to stand a chance of securing a top six finish, and would also need either Middlesbrough to beat Coventry City, or Millwall to drop points against Blackburn.
