Sunderland are the most searched for Championship side in five US states.
Through use of Google Trends data, Reddit user FrugalZee has pulled together which Championship clubs have been the most searched for teams in each US state since the start of the season.
Tony Mowbray's side are the most searched for Championship club in Oregon, Texas, Arkansas, Ohio and Florida.

It's possible that Sunderland being listed top of these five states could be something to do with Netflix's 'Sunderland 'Til I Die' series, which will return for third and final season in the near future.
The Black Cats have enjoyed a reasonable start to life back in the Championship and sit 13th in the table after 16 games following their promotion from League One last season.
Norwich City are the most searched Championship club in the US, with a whopping 18 states keeping tabs on the Canaries.
They top the Championship search in Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Louisiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

West Bromwich Albion are second on the most searched list in six US states, with Wyoming, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Pennsylvania all keen to follow the Baggies despite their dreadful start to the Championship season.
QPR and Watford are joint third on the most searched list with six states apiece. The R's, who recently managed to retain the services of Michael Beale despite interest from the Premier League, are the most searched for Championship club in Arizona, Alaska, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana and Kentucky.
Watford, who are already on their second manager of the season, top the Championship search engines in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Georgia, Maryland and New Jersey.
Sunderland are next on the list with their five states, closely followed by local rivals Middlesbrough, who are the most searched Championship side in Utah, Tennessee and West Virginia.
Swansea City, like Middlesbrough, also have three states searching them in Hawaii, South Carolina and Delaware, while Sheffield United are the most searched for side in Mississippi and Alabama.
Finally, round out the list is Hull City, who are oddly the most searched for Championship club in New Mexico.
