Sunderland man led police on high-speed chase in 'rare' stolen BMW to repay drug debt

BMW Sunderland

A Sunderland man led police on a high-speed chase in a "rare" stolen BMW while undertaking a favour to repay a drug debt.

Connor Knight was asked to "move" the stolen BMW M240i as a "favour" over a drugs debt he owed on October 22, last year.

But when police attempted to pull him over, uninsured Knight raced off, hitting speeds of up to 90mph before crashing the vehicle.
