Sunderland fans have been reacting on social media after the Black Cats claimed a 1-0 win at Stoke City.
The Black Cats continued their impressive start to life back in the Championship, with Ross Stewart bagging his third goal of the season in first-half stoppage-time to hand Alex Neil's side the three points in The Potteries. Stewart had a chance to double Sunderland's advantage in the final minutes, but he fired wide after rounding Stoke goalkeeper Josef Bursik.
After five matches played, Sunderland sit fifth in the table, with their only defeat coming to Sheffield United - who are at the summit of the Championship table.
