Sunderland's sporting director has indicated that he expects Manchester United's Amad to remain on loan at the club for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old Ivorian has been impressive for the Black Cats since joining the Championship side on a season-long loan, with the forward registering six goals and one assists in 20 appearances. After somewhat of a slow start to life at the Stadium of Light, he has scored six times in the last 11 matches.
United have an option to recall Amad, but Sunderland sporting director Kristjaan Speakman has hinted that the Reds loanee is expected to remain with the Black Cats for the remainder of the season.
