Senior Tory Caroline Nokes has suffered around 50 incidents of inappropriate behaviour in 13 years as an MP, she has revealed.

The chair of the women and equalities committee said the situation in Westminster is “horrific”, highlighting a “really laddish culture” in which the “banter” defence is used.
