Midfielder Remo Freuler is convinced Nottingham Forest can turn around their Premier League fortunes.
Friday night’s reverse at home to Fulham made it four defeats on the spin for the Reds, who are second-bottom in the table with four points. But Freuler has hinted patience may be required as a new-look squad takes time to gel.
The 30-year-old was one of 22 new arrivals at the City Ground during the transfer window - albeit three headed straight out on loan. Although Forest have shown positive glimpses during their first seven games, they have also looked disjointed and lacking in cohesion at times.

The challenges posed by such a mammoth squad overhaul have been acknowledged by boss Steve Cooper, who is still trying to settle upon his best team. And Freuler seems to recognise the difficulties, too.
When Swiss media outlet SRF put it to him that a tough start to the season wasn’t necessarily a surprise after all the signings made, he said in a translated interview: “I thought I was the newcomer to the team. But it was actually like that for everyone.”
SRF point out “it is only natural that things have not yet worked out under these conditions”. They say Freuler responded with: "It will take some time, but it can be good.”
Nevertheless, the Switzerland international, who is currently on international duty, appears to be embracing his move to England. He made the move from Atalanta last month and has made four appearances so far, including starting against the Cottagers.
“It was about being able to have a new experience again,” he said of linking up with Cooper’s side. “You don't know when the chance to play in what is currently the best league in the world will come again.”
