“It’s year three for Summer Game Fest, and I’m excited to be able to bring the community together once again to celebrate everything we love about games,” Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest host, said in a press release.
As for what games will be at the show, we don’t know yet! I’m hoping there’ll be trailers for Final Fantasy 16 or the long-rumored Resident Evil 4 remake. Before you get too unhinged, this is just my wish list. Looking at the lineup of publishers, I’m betting Sonic Frontiers, Gotham Knights, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 might be there. We will find out soon enough.
Sony is hosting State of Play mere days before Summer Games Fest, while Xbox and Bethesda have a showcase soon too.
