KOCHI: A key figure in making the Kerala women’s team a force to reckon with in domestic cricket circuit and the one who facilitated the entry of Wayanad girls, Minnu Mani and Sajana Sajeevan, into the Indian team, Suman Sharma, is bidding goodbye to state cricket. The former Delhi cricketer has stepped down as the head coach of the Kerala women’s team.
Suman first assumed charge of the state women’s team before the 2013-14 season. Barring a two-year break, she has been the guiding force for Kerala’s women cricketers for more than a decade.
