Sukhbir Singh Badal declared stable after undergoing surgery following Nanded gurdwara attack

Former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal underwent surgery for about 90 minutes and has been declared stable by the doctors treating him on Friday after he was injured in a 'kirpan' attack inside a gurdwara.

An official had said Badal will be discharged on Friday and is likely to be flown to Punjab in the afternoon
