Oct NY world sugar #11 (SBV23) on Friday closed +0.38 (+1.59%), and Oct London white sugar #5 (SWV23) closed +6.10 (+0.88%).

Sugar prices Friday climbed to 1-week highs and settled moderately higher on positive carryover from Thursday when the International Sugar Organization (ISO) projected a decline in 2023/24 global sugar production and the global sugar market would fall into a deficit.
