May NY world sugar #11 (SBK23) on Friday closed up +0.29 (+1.32%), and May London white sugar #5 (SWK23) closed down -0.40 (-0.06%).

Sugar prices Friday settled mixed, with NY sugar climbing to a 6-1/3 year nearest-futures high. The outlook for tighter global sugar supplies is underpinning sugar prices.
