Sugar Prices Turn Lower After Green Pool Projects a Global Sugar Surplus

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is down -0.01 (-0.05%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) is down -1.60 (-0.30%).

Sugar prices today gave up an early advance and turned lower after Green Pool Commodity Specialists projected the global sugar market will shift to a surplus of +2.7 MMT in 2025/26 crop year, compared to a deficit of -3.7 MMT in 2024/25.
