October NY world sugar #11 (SBV26) is up +0.26 (+1.57%) today, and October London ICE white sugar #5 (SWV26) is up +11.00 (+2.15%).

Sugar prices are sharply higher today, with London sugar posting a 16-month high. The outlook for a global sugar deficit is underpinning sugar prices.
