Sugar Prices Settle Mixed on Higher Brazil Sugar Production Estimates

July NY world sugar #11 (SBN24) on Thursday closed down -0.02 (-0.10%), and Aug London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ24) closed up +2.70 (+0.47%).

Sugar prices Thursday settled mixed.  Thursday's action by Datagro to raise its sugar production estimate for Brazil's Center-South region is bearish for sugar prices.  Datagro hiked its 2024 Center-South sugar production estimate to 41.6 MMT from a March estimate of 40.45 MMT.
