Sugar Prices Retreat on Dollar Strength

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Friday closed down -0.23 (-0.99%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) closed down -7.10 (-1.22%).

Sugar prices Friday fell back from 1-week highs and turned lower after the dollar index (DXY00) jumped to a 7-week high,  prompting long liquidation in sugar futures.
