Sugar Prices Rebound as India's Sugar Output Falters

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is up +0.04 (+0.19%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) is up +3.40 (+0.64%).

Sugar prices today are modestly higher, with NY sugar recovering from a 2-3/4 month low. Sugar prices recovered from early losses today and pushed higher on reduced sugar output in India after the National Federation of India Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd reported sugar production from Oct 1-Dec 15 fell -18% y/y to 6.1 MMT.
