Sugar Prices Post Moderate Gains as the Dollar Slides

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Monday closed up +0.15 (+0.79%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) closed up +8.80 (+1.77%).

Sugar prices Monday settled higher for a fourth consecutive session and posted 2-1/2 week highs.  Monday's slump in the dollar index (DXY00) to a 5-week low fueled fund short covering in sugar futures.
