Sugar Prices Plunge as Conab Boosts Its Brazil Sugar Production Estimate

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH26) today is down -0.44 (-3.00%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ25) is down -9.20 (-2.17%).

Sugar prices are sharply lower today and are just above last week's significant lows. Sugar prices retreated today after Conab, Brazil's crop forecasting agency, raised its Brazil 2025/26 sugar production estimate to 45 MMT from a previous forecast of 44.5 MMT.
