Sugar Prices Hammered by Outlook for Abundant Sugar Supplies

July NY world sugar #11 (SBN25) Tuesday closed down -0.44 (-2.66%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) closed down -14.50 (-3.02%).

Sugar prices on Tuesday settled sharply lower but remained above the significant lows of Monday.  The outlook for improving global sugar supplies is weighing on prices.
