Sugar Prices Fall on Expectations for Larger Sugar Surplus

July NY world sugar #11 (SBN25) today is down -0.16 (-0.96%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is down -4.90 (-1.04%).

Sugar prices today gave up early gains and turned lower on the outlook for larger global supplies after Covrig Analytics boosted its 2025/26 global sugar surplus estimate to 4.2 MMT from an April forecast of 4.1 MMT.
