Sugar Prices Fall as Brazil Ramps Up Sugar Production

July NY world sugar #11 (SBN26) today is down -0.38 (-2.61%), and Aug London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ26) is down -6.70 (-1.53%).

Sugar prices are selling off today, with NY sugar falling to a 1-month low and London sugar falling to a 3-week low on higher sugar output in Brazil. Unica today reported that 2026/27 Brazil Center-South sugar production in April rose +55.3% y/y to 2.475 MMT, driven by higher yields, with sucrose per ton of cane at 112.58 kilograms, up +5.4% from the same time last year.
