Sugar Prices Continue to be Undercut by Focus on Global Surplus

United States USDA NY India Brazil London ISMA Thailand

October NY world sugar #11 (SBV25) is up +0.08 (+0.48%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is down -29.10 (-5.89%).

Sugar prices today are mixed.  NY sugar is seeing support after the USDA on Monday announced that the US will not import any specialty sugar beyond what is required by international trade laws, "in alignment with Secretary Rollins' Farmers First policies."
