Sugar Prices Climb on Reduced Rain Chances in Brazil

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is up +0.07 (+0.32%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) is up +3.60 (+0.64%).

Sugar prices today are moderately higher due to reduced near-term prospects for rain in Brazil's Center-South, the country's main sugar-producing region.  Meteorologist Climatempo now forecasts scattered rain this week for Brazil's Center-South, less than a previous forecast for widespread rain.
