Sugar Prices Climb on Reduced Indian Sugar Output

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is up +0.31 (+1.61%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) is up +9.80 (+1.91%).

Sugar prices today are climbing, with NY sugar posting a 4-week high and London sugar posting a 7-week high.  Reduced sugar output in India is boosting prices after Centrum reported today that India's 2024/25 sugar production from October 1 to January 31 was down -12.2% y/y to 16.5 MMT.
