Tony Maudsley, who plays her character Eileen Grimshaw's on-screen partner George Shuttleworth, clocked a tweet from Sue's official Twitter showing her walking hand-in-hand with Boy George as they met for the first time on I'm a Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here.
Sue, who has played curmudgeonly Eileen since 2000, beamed a big smile as she got to know her famous campmate. "Loving this I can feel a beautiful friendship brewing @BoyGeorge @imacelebrity #teamsue #ImACeleb," the tweet read.
Tony replied mock mournfully in character as George, and used his nickname for Eileen. "Oh Eyelash! You’ve swapped me for a pop star?" he asked. And Sue's Twitter replied to him with crying-laughing emojis: "Never!!!"
