Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver is all but 'confirmed' for the new series of I'm A Celebrity after she landed in Australia, with fans already tipping her
The star, known to millions of soap fans as Eileen Grimshaw, has been heavily linked for a trip Down Under to join hosts Ant and Dec as the ITV show returns to its old stomping ground after three years away. Sue made her debut on the cobbles of Wetherfield two decades ago as Eileen and sons Todd and Jason moved into the famous street, with Sue having some iconic scenes over the years, not least her public brawl with nemesis Gail Platt.
She was pictured at an airport in Australia early on Wednesday UK time, a day after radio host Chris Moyles and former Love Island finalist Olivia Attwood touched down a day earlier.

Other stars rumoured to be on the I'm A Celebrity line-up this year, include Boy George, Mike Tindall and Loose Women host Charlene White, but, for now it's Sue who is the focus of fans' attention. Reacting to the shots of her landing in Oz, one avid Coronation Street viewer took to Twitter to post: "Corrie fans got to get behind her Eileen aka Sue Cleaver for Queen of the jungle," with a second tweeting: "I’m already rooting for her to win win win!!"
A third joked: "Go smash it Sue, whatever you put in ya mouth think it’s a Betty’s hot pot lol"
The new series of I'm A Celebrity i s set to get going on Sunday, November 6, with other famous faces set to appear ranging from Mike Tindall to England Lionesses hero Jill Scott, who recently announced her retirement.
