Succession’s finale, which aired early on Monday morning, was everything that fans had hoped for.

The 90-minute episode provided non-stop drama, some deeply emotional exchanges, insults and rude lines a-plenty, backstabbing, moments of hope, moments of tragedy, and a conclusion which made perfect sense – and yet was somehow utterly shocking.

Both #Successionfinal and #Shiv were trending on Twitter on Monday, as fans turned online to share their emotions about the final – ever – episode of the show.

Here is our pick of some of the best reactions to episode ten, titled With Open Eyes.

On the whole, fans thought the finale lived up to its potential
