Nicola Sturgeon has said she was “not even considered for prosecution” as authorities investigated money missing from the SNP that her former husband has been jailed for embezzling.

The former Scottish first minister was arrested and questioned by police in June 2023 as part of Operation Branchform, which led to Peter Murrell being jailed.
