'Stupid' acts: no bail for jeweller ahead of retrial

A jewellery store owner accused of faking a multi-million dollar heist will remain behind bars awaiting a retrial after being refused bail again.

The Germani Jewellers store at Sydney's Hilton Hotel was robbed in January 2023 by two men who tied up owner Michel Germani and employee Lana Al-Khoury.
