A breathtaking West Lothian wedding venue has announced it will be launching a new dining experience for locals over the winter.
The Vu is usually overloaded with weddings every weekend during the spring and summer seasons but have now given locals the chance to enjoy the scenery again at their new restaurant.
Located at the Ballencreiff Reservoir in Bathgate, the venue is known for their stunning views over the water, as well as their events spaces that look out over the grounds.

In a bid to combat the quieter season, the spaces will now be turned into a local eatery, that will open over the weekends offering a full range of dishes.
Including everything from homemade soup to steak, sticky toffee pudding and more, the Vu said: "Coming into winter The Vu will be opening our restaurant to be enjoyed by all.

"We are excited to welcome you all along to have some good food, relax with a drink, make memories or re live some moments that were shared here at The Vu.
"We will be opening from Thursday 24th November. From this date we will be open each Thursday through to Sunday. We will be open from 5pm each day, we will also be opening for lunch on select days through December and these will be launched along with some festive specials a little closer to the time.
