Popular bar Water Lane Boathouse has been named one of the best bars to Europe.
Trying to get a seat in the beer garden bar on a busy weekend or sunny day isn't an easy task; it has built up such a good reputation over the years. The hotspot is based at Canal Wharf and has stunning views of River Aire and canal boats going by.
The venue, open every day, serves cocktails, draft beer, small bites, and has games for customers to play while they drink. Water Lane Boathouse has been named the 12th best place in the entirety of Europe to visit for a drink and "delicious grub", according to Big 7 Travel's best list of rooftop bars. Also on the Big 7 list, coming in as one of the top 50 best bars in Europe, is Green Room in Wellington Place.
