Photos of GAA player James McCarthy’s stunning wedding have been shared by his well-known photographer on social media.
Jenny McCarthy, known as a photographer for the stars, was given the gig for the beautiful wedding. The couple tied the knot on Friday afternoon amongst their family and friends, including many of James' Dublin teammates.
The photographer shared both snaps and videos of the happy couple throughout their special day. Jenny is married to Virgin Media’s Martin King, who managed to bag a last minute invite to the highly anticipated nuptials.

Jenny wrote on Instagram: “When I say I was surrounded by the soundest people all day is no exaggeration- beautiful family, gorgeous friends and a whole lot of craic all day long! My husband is the BIGGEST Dublin GAA supporter on the planet and they invited him in for a drink; he was on cloud nine.”
The beautiful bride thanked Jenny for all her hard work documenting the big day in Castleknock. Clodagh, who works as a digital marketing manager, jokingly hinted that further invites would be extended to Jenny and Martin down the line.
She wrote: “Where do we even begin to thank you for capturing our day. You were simply the best- and the offer still stands for Christmas Day dinner.”
Clodagh wore a simple but elegant long sleeved dress, complete with a flowing veil and holding a red bouquet in her wedding photos. The couple’s dog was also in attendance, with Jenny sharing an adorable photo of the trio together on the hotel grounds.
The engagement was almost two years long, with James popping the question back in December 2020. He first posted the happy news on Instagram, with a photo of himself and his fiancee in front of a Christmas tree.
The GAA player captioned the post: “The biggest win of the year. Merry Christmas.”
