We're edging closer to the time of season when clubs will announce their kits for the new season. Judging by the leaks that have emerged online, Arsenal fans will be over the moon with the design of the club's new home kit Adidas have prepared.
A slick new design and commemorative red, white and gold colour patterns has emerged and it promises to be one of the best kits the Gunners have worn in recent years. Since changing kit provider to Adidas, the north London outfit have worn some brilliant strips, but could have the best still to come with gold trims added for next season's jersey.
The base layer remains the same with a darker shade of red, whilst the white trim has been changed slightly with the addition of gold stripes on the shoulders and Adidas logo. After concept kits were released earlier this year on the reliable Footy Headlines website, a tweet showing the shirt physically has caught the attention of fans - and the response has been a overwhelmingly positive.

With a golden shirt sponsor, badge outline and Adidas print, the top has a set of zig-zig lines going down the front and back, creating a striped pattern underneath the first look.
The sleeves remain white but have three golden Adidas stripes running down the arms as well as a slight crossover onto the middle of the top at the shoulders. The end of the sleeves also have a golden trim and a red ring too, to add gloss to the smart-looking piece of wear.
The back of the shirt also has a nice fresh effect with a golden lightning bolt coming down from the collar. After reuniting with Adidas Arsenal have released some of the nicest pieces of merchandise and matchwear around in recent years with retro kits and popularity over other items souring.
When the partnership was announced the sportswear tycoon wrote about their aim 'continue to inspire and engage supporters around the world' and that appears to be just what they are doing here. With it being two decades since the Invincibles season Arsenal could be about to celebrate in true style.
The added golden elements are there as a commemoratory part of the design but should Mikel Arteta win the league this season it would be great timing with the kit already in place to celebrate the success. The Premier League champions usually do this regardless of the kit with a golden badge on the kit but Arsenal may already have taken it a step further.
Fans have already shown their admiration for this bit of work with one user writing: "looks so nice" and another saying: "Looks amazing. Ready for Champions League nights!"
