Manchester United supporters lauded Marcus Rashford after he scored an outstanding solo goal to put the Reds 2-0 up against Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
A goal to the good at half-time following Christian Eriksen's tap-in, United doubled their advantage shortly before the hour mark through Rashford's ninth goal of the season. Rashford, who scored three times for England during the World Cup in Qatar, had been experiencing a very quiet night on the right-wing, further highlighting that he is more effective on the opposite flank. However, his goal was a work of art, providing yet further proof that his confidence and career has been rekindled by Erik ten Hag this season.
