One of Ireland's most stunning stud farms has gone on the market following the death of its owner, Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.
Lumville Farm in Edenderry was purchased by the former deputy ruler of Dubai in 2005 to complement his Derrinstown Stud operation.
The guide price of the 218-acre site has been set at €4.5 million for the entire farm, which has bred and raised 41 Group 1 winners.

Derrinstown Stud General Manager Stephen Collins told the Irish Field: "This is part of a consolidation of the business, both home and abroad, that is taking place since the passing of Sheik Hamdan last year.
"It follows a reduction in the number of horses we have in training and a major reduction in the numbers of breeding stock we have here, but in every other way it is business as usual.
"The land at Lumville is simply magnificent, and this is the opportunity for anyone to take over a turnkey property. The place has been maintained to an extremely high standard, and I have no doubt that the auctioneer, Will Coonan of Coonan Property, will be fielding enquires from all over the world for this beautiful farm."
The Offaly farm features Lumville House, a 4,000 sq ft residence built in the 1940s.
