'Stunning' house for sale that will give people 'postcode envy'

A new home has been listed for sale in Merseyside, with estate agents claiming it will give people 'postcode envy.'

The detached dormer bungalow is found on Windsor Close, in Greasby, Wirral. Having been recently renovated, the four bedroom property features a 'stunning' open plan kitchen/diner. It also benefits from two walk-in wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms and golf putting holes in the garden.

It's on the market for £625,000 with Jones and Chapman which is more than three times the amount it was listed for sale for in 2019. However, according to Rightmove, sold prices in the area have gone up more than 20% since the previous peak of 2019.

Properties in Greasby had an overall average price of £275,664 over the last year, according to Rightmove. Most of the sales in the area during the last 12 months were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £266,469.

Detached properties sold for an average of £333,222, with flats fetching £103,667. Overall, sold prices in Greasby over the last year were 17% up on the previous year and 25% up on the 2019 peak of £220,832.

However, other similar sized homes in the area are priced at £795,000 on Sandy Lane, £425,000 on Upton Road and £650,000 on Noctorum Lane.

Images on Rightmove show that the home has been refurbished to the 'highest standards' with a fully integrated kitchen and bifold doors that open into the garden. The garden has a patio area, big enough for outdoor furniture and perfect for entertaining.

The first floor is made up of a bright entrance hall, lounge and one of the four bedrooms, which boasts a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. While the first floor benefits from three double bedrooms, two of which share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower and free standing bath.
