Utrecht: Organoids produced from patients with head and neck cancer (HNC) were used to create a biobank by researchers from the Organoid group (Hubrecht Institute) and UMC Utrecht. They used this biobank to validate known HNC indicators, and they discovered that therapy responses in organoids matched those seen in patients.
The study's findings will be published in the journal Med on May 12, 2023, and they may aid in future treatment decisions and the identification of novel medicines for HCN patients.
