Massachusetts: There are considerable variances in how much people are exposed to air pollution, according to a new study co-authored by MIT researchers that considers everyday mobility.
The study does not simply estimate air pollution exposure based on where people live or work, but also uses mobile data to investigate where individuals go during a normal day, allowing for a more comprehensive assessment of the environment's influence.
