The Miami Dolphins defeated the Denver Broncos by an incredible score of 70-20 Sunday afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium to move to 3-0 on the season.
Miami’s offense was impressive, scoring 10 total touchdowns, including two without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who sat out for nearly all of the fourth quarter.
Buy Dolphins TicketsOn the other side of the ball, Vic Fangio’s unit recorded three takeaways, as they allowed Denver to move down the field but kept them from finding the end zone more than once.
As we do after every game, let’s take a look at some of those who deserve credit and some who deserve blame for their performances against the Broncos.
STUDS: RB room
What an incredible day for the duo of Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane. The two combined for 285 yards and five rushing touchdowns on 9.2 yards per attempt while adding another 90 yards and three touchdowns on 11 receptions.
The duo has certainly given Miami something to think about with Salvon Ahmed and Jeff Wilson expected to return from injury in the coming weeks.

Even undrafted rookie Chris Brooks got in the party, rushing for 66 yards on nine carries, including a 52-yard rush in the fourth quarter.
DUD: C Connor Williams
Williams continues to play very well at center, but his mistakes have held the team back. Prior to this game, it was a problem with high snaps, and on Sunday it was two holding penalties.
The former Dallas Cowboy left the game in the third quarter due to a groin injury and was replaced by Liam Eichenberg.
STUD: S Jevon Holland
Holland continues to fly around the defense and just make his presence felt on nearly every snap.
In the win over the Broncos, he had a team-high eight total tackles (tied with David Long), a pass deflection and two forced fumbles that were recovered by Miami.
Those type of plays are what earn players All-Pro honors.
DUD: Special Teams
Of course, the Dolphins couldn’t make it through a full game without some sort of special teams gaffe. In the fourth quarter, they allowed Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. to return a kick 99 yards for a touchdown.
In tighter games, these moments can be back-breaking. It needs to be cleaned up.
