NTR District Education Officer U.V. Subba Rao, on Friday, said the allegations on the ‘punishment given to the students by a teacher’ in a private school were false.
The Mandal Education Officer (MEO) conducted inquiry on Friday on the news report and found that the allegations made by the parent were false, he said
Earlier, Collector S. Dilli Rao has ordered an inquiry into the incident where a private school teacher allegedly made her students stand in the hot sun because they did not pay the school fees in Vijayawada.
The parents reportedly alleged that when they questioned the teacher, she used abusive language against them.
The school management did not take any action against the teacher, the parents claimed.
On April 5, the district Collector has ordered an inquiry into the punishment meted out to the students.
