A student who lost all his hair aged just 15 has taken inspiration from his mum's beauty treatments. Sam Taylor was left without any hair on his body or head, blaming his alopecia on GCSE stress.
While the loss of hair from his head didn't bother him, he said the loss of his eyebrows made him "feel different". But now he is sporting a new look after having his eyebrows tattooed - to the envy of many of his female mates.
Sam's early bald patches were first noticed by a barber when he was 15, who suggested he may be suffering from the hair loss condition alopecia, which was confirmed when he saw a GP. When, within months, Sam, of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, saw all the hair on his head, face and body fall out, his confidence plummeted, while strangers asked if he had cancer.
