Stubble burning cases decline almost 4 times in Haryana

KARNAL: Stubble-burning cases in Haryana have dipped almost four times this season as compared to the past two years, according to data of the Haryana Remote Sensing Centre.

The state witnessed 132 cases of stubble burning (active fire location) between September 15 and October 14, compared to 487 cases reported in 2021. In 2020, the figures were 1449 during the corresponding period.
