Rangers striker Hamza Igamane has been backed by Morocco manager Walid Regragui after he was called up despite his goal drought.
The 22-year-old was named in the World Cup semi-finalists' squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Niger and Tanzania in what will be a pre-Old Firm boost for him.
Igamane could win his first cap for his country in the away double-header after he was called up, even though he has now gone 11 games without a goal for Rangers.
However, Regragui was impressed by Igamane's earlier form this season after netting 13 goals for the Ibrox side in all competitions.
He said: "Hamza Igamane's call-up is an opportunity for him to gain confidence and integrate into the national team.

"We are missing Ayoub El Kaabi from Olympiacos and Hamza will compensate for that. To be included in the national team squad, you have to score goals and Hamza has managed that for Rangers this season.
"Hamza Igamane has performed exceptionally well since his transfer. I am keen to give young emerging Moroccan talent a chance."
