Stronger Dollar Undercuts Sugar Prices

London NY India Brazil ISMA ISO

July NY world sugar #11 (SBN23) on Wednesday closed down -0.16 (-0.61%), and Aug London white sugar #5 (SWQ23) closed down -3.30 (-0.46%).

Sugar prices Wednesday moved lower, with NY sugar falling to a 1-1/2 week low and London sugar dropping to a 1-week low.  A rally in the dollar index Wednesday to a 7-week high undercut sugar prices.
