Strong start to co-pay scheme

The Thais Help Thais co-payment scheme generated almost 1.1 billion baht in spending on its first day, reflecting strong public demand for government support as households continued to grapple with high living costs.

The programme recorded spending of 1,084.43 million baht by 5pm on Monday, with 5 million people using their benefits at over 566,000 participating shops nationwide.
