'Strong' Oscar urged to hit back after home GP calamity

A year on from his superb Chinese Grand Prix victory that followed a calamity at his home Australian Grand Prix, McLaren are trusting in Oscar Piastri again being able to show why he's made of the right stuff.

Team principal Andrea Stella believes the 24-year-old will be even more motivated to kick-start his season into action in Shanghai this weekend following the reconnaissance-lap crash that prevented him lining up on the grid in Melbourne on Sunday.
