Strong Demand Underpins Cocoa Prices

Sep ICE NY cocoa (CCU23) on Tuesday closed +19 (+0.57%), and Sep ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU23) closed +25 (+0.94%).

Cocoa prices Tuesday climbed to a 1-week high and closed moderately higher.   Strong cocoa demand is underpinning prices.  Gepex, an exporter group that includes six of the world's biggest cocoa grinders, reported last Friday that its Q2 cocoa processing rose +3% y/y to 161,433 MT.
