Former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane will return to Anfield and make his Liverpool Legends debut next month as the Reds host Manchester United.
The second instalment of the Legends of The North series will take place on Saturday September 24 with kick-off at 3pm, with all proceeds going to the LFC Foundation. And the Reds can be crowned champions with a win following their 3-1 win at Old Trafford in May.
Keane will be joined by the likes of Steve McManaman, Jerzy Dudek, Momo Sissoko and Bjorn Tore Kvarme, with more players to be announced soon. The Liverpool Legends side will once again be managed by the legendary Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.

May’s trip to Old Trafford for the first clash saw Sky Sports duo Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville lead out their respective teams, and second-half goals from Luis Garcia and Mark Gonzales (2) earned the Reds an away-day win.
Republic of Ireland international Keane spent just six months on Merseyside during 2008/2009, scoring five goals in 19 Premier League games before returning to Tottenham in February 2009 for £7million less that the Reds bought him for just the previous summer.
Liverpool fans had the chance to see the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Yossi Benayoun and Andriy Voronin back in a Reds shirt and similarly-loved legends are expected to don the Anfield turf once again next month.
Matt Parish, chief executive of LFC Foundation, said: "The excitement is really starting to build now ahead of the deciding leg of the Legends of the North fixture at Anfield next month.
"Our official legends fixtures are always big, fun-filled occasions that enable us to raise important funds to support our various programmes and charity partners that help thousands of young people and families across the Liverpool City Region.
"We have a host of new and exciting LFC Legends retuning to Anfield in support of the LFC Foundation, which will undoubtedly result in a competitive and entertaining afternoon of football for all to enjoy."
