The incident occurred while he was meeting with the Greek Prime Minister, resulting in fatalities and injuries. Fortunately, President Zelensky and the Greek Prime Minister were unharmed.
The strike took place at approximately 10:40 AM Kiev time, with the exact proximity to the convoy and the intended target still under investigation. Odessa, being the largest Ukrainian seaport on the Black Sea, has been a frequent target for attacks. Just days prior, a tragic incident at a residential building claimed the lives of 12 civilians.
